Transfer Students

To be considered a transfer student, a student much have successfully completed 24 credits that are transferable to LCOOU, at an accredited postsecondary institution. Those that do not meet these criteria will be considered a new student and must complete the applicable placement testing.  

  1. All transfer applicants are required to complete the LCOOU application https://www.lco.edu/admissions. 
  2. Provide official high school, GED or HSED transcripts.
  3. If Native American, supply proof of tribal enrollment or letter of tribal affiliation. A descendant’s proof of parent’s tribal enrollment and a copy of your birth certificate is required. 
  4. Submit all official transcripts from postsecondary institutions previously attended directly to the Registrar. A transfer student will be considered for admission once all official transcripts are received by the Registrar.  
  5. Placement tests for transfer students are determined upon completion of transfer credit evaluation.
