EDU 310 Foundations of Education

This course will examine the American education system and the political, historical, philosophical, and sociological factors. Anishinaabe education pedagogy will be investigated as a basis to compare, reflect, and analyze current practices in education. Pre-service teachers will consider cultural influences in education, the importance of education in society, and objectives of teaching.
