BUS 221 Macroeconmics

Students learn the basics of Macroeconomics. Students will see the basic economic tools of analysis being used to explain things. Money, Banking, Federal Reserve, and monetary policies will be covered. It will be made clear how monetary policy has evolved into what it is today. Other subjects to be covered include Crony Capitalism, Economic Research, Opportunity Costs, Scarcity, Efficiency, Macro/Micro differences, Economic theories & research, International Trade & Finance and working with numbers & graphs. We will look at big companies, Covid-19 consequences & correlations, as well Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and the Future of Jobs. Requisites: ENG 109 with a grade C or better â€" Must be completed prior to taking this course.
