BUS 220 Microeconomics
Students learn the basics of Microeconomics. Microeconomics deals with the decision-making of individuals, groups, or firms such as Supply & Demand, Production, Consumption, and Price Levels. We will cover the Science of Scarcity, Microeconomics Fundamentals, Product Markets & Policies, Factor Markets & Related Issues, Health Economics, Market Failure, Public Choice, Special Interest Group Politics, Economic Theories & Research, and International Trade & Finance. We look into several aspects of decision making such as technology as well as comparative advantage. After this course the student should have a working knowledge of how decisions are made within the business world. Requisites: ENG 109 with a grade C or better â€" Must be completed prior to taking this course.
