NSG 216 Mental Health & Comty Concepts
This course covers topics related to the delivery of community and mental health care. Specific health needs of individuals, families, and groups are addressed across the lifespan. Attention is given to diverse and at-risk populations. Mental health concepts concentrate on adaptive/maladaptive behaviors and specific mental health disorders. Community resources are examined in relation to specific types of support offered to racial, ethnic, economically diverse individuals and groups.
