NSG 105 Nursing Health & Alterations
This course elaborates upon the basic concepts of health and illness as presented in Nursing Fundamentals. It applies theories of nursing in the care of patients through the lifespan, utilizing problem solving and critical thinking. This course will provide an opportunity to study conditions affecting different body systems and apply evidence-based nursing interventions. It will also introduce concepts of leadership and management. PREREQUISITE: Admission to the Nursing program, NSG 114 Nursing Fundamentals, NSG 115 Nursing Skills, NSG 219 Nursing Pharmacology, NSG 125 Intro to Clinical Practice and COREQUISITE: NSG 117 Health Promotions, NSG 118 Nursing Clinical Care Across the Lifespan, BIO 330 Human Anatomy & Physiology II
