HUS 306 Working W/Communities & Orgs.
Study of the basic concepts of social systems theory particularly relevant to practice. Knowledge from the social sciences is integrated to provide a basis for intervention with individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities. Special emphasis is made on selfexamination in relation to ethical, social justice, and human diversity issues and on acquiring that interact effectively with vulnerable or at-risk populations.
