CHM 103 General Chemistry I
This introductory course involves the study of the chemical and physical properties of elements, gas laws, chemical nomenclature, and structure of atoms, chemical bonding, and solutions. A study lab gives students hands on experiences while observing chemical and physical changes resulting from chemical reactions. The course prepares students for other scientific courses and science careers. Includes a 1 credit lab which meets 2 hours weekly.
