BIO 230 Human Anatomy & Physiology I
This course enables students to develop knowledge of the structures and functions of the human body at the cellular, tissue, organ, and organ system levels. The course is accompanied by a laboratory experience where students will reinforce their understanding through interactive learning modules. Topics include an introduction to cellular biology, tissue structures, the integumentary system, the musculoskeletal system, and the nervous system. Students are strongly encouraged to have passed BIO101 or BIO102 or HTH130 before taking this course.
