HUS 104 Intro to Human Services Skills

This course introduces the methodology used in the human services profession with emphasis on interpersonal communication, interviewing, and development of basic helping skills. Practice focuses on historical, intergenerational trauma, and trauma informed care. The use of attachment theory, trauma informed care, and reflective supervision in native communities is the focus of the skills practice.
