BIO 332 Microbiology With Lab
This course covers the principles of microbiology including topics of cellular biology, genetics, ecology, evolution, physiology, disease, and biotechnology. Students will be introduced to different microbial diversity including prokaryotes, eukaryotes, prions, and viruses. Clinical microbiology will be explored through topics of immunity, pathogenicity, epidemiology, and control of microbes and diseases. An interactive laboratory will accompany the course that emphasizes proper laboratory technique, microscopy, staining, streaks, serial dilutions, biochemical testing, and biotechnology.
BIO 102 (for science majors) or
